WHAT TO EXPECT

– Equipment competency – Fit and adjust outriggers, ski bras, tip retainers and prosthetic considerations for 3-track and 4-track students.

– Adapted progressions – Teach balance, edging and steering for students with amputations, hemiplegia, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis and similar conditions.

– On-snow teaching – Deliver a lesson segment on intermediate terrain with accurate movement analysis and appropriate terrain selection.

Adaptive Level 1 certification is a prerequisite. Review the PSIA-NW Adaptive Certification Guide, the 3-Track/4-Track Exam Information sheet, and complete your 3-Track and 4-Track Log before attending.
