Course Description:

During this clinic you will work to improve confidence and control in steeper terrain. The day is full of fun developing the skills to charge downhill – and you’ll meet plenty of other snowsports enthusiasts while you’re at it.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of this clinic, participants will be able to:

– Control speed on pitch – Use turn shape, edge engagement, and pressure management to regulate speed on steep terrain rather than relying on skidding.

– Commit to the fall line – Demonstrate a decisive turn initiation on steeper slopes with stable upper body and quiet hands.

– Choose a smart line – Read the slope and select a line and turn size that match the pitch, snow, and your own comfort level.

– Manage the mental side – Apply incremental, confidence-building tactics that let you step up terrain difficulty without freezing.

Alpine focused. Open to all certification levels. Earns continuing education credit (CEUs).
