Course Description:
Ready for the Next Level?
The CS1 got you thinking? Got you excited for learning more about children, their development and how to help them grow their love of snowsports? Then the CS2 is the next step!
During the Children’s Specialist 2 credential you will continue your journey in working with your young clients. You will complete the workbook (email completed copy to info@psia-nw.org) and quiz (found at LMS.thesnowpros.org) as a pre-req, as well as having completed the CS1 and have your Level 2 certification, or higher.
Through this course you will learn more about how children think, feel, and move. You will gain knowledge on how to keep them engaged, and explore the different ways of teaching the small learner. During this program, you will be assessed on your teaching, technical, and people skills, specific to the age, and state, of the client. Please be familiar with the Children’s Specialist National Standards.
Need to be Completed Before Registering for the course (aka pre-req’s)
- Level 2 Certification in any discipline
- Completion and submission of the:
- Children’s Specialist 2 Workbook and Quiz
- email completed workbook to info@psia-nw.org

Additional Event Details:
Mt. Hood Meadows is supporting this event with lift tickets for those who do not have a pass at the resort. Completion of the eLearning course is a pre-requisite to registraion and at the event, bring the completed copy of your Children’s Specialist Workbook and a blank copy of the Movement Analysis Worksheet.
