Course Description:
Looking to get ready for your exam and not quite sure where you are on the pathway? Read through the Snowboard Certification Guide, then take this course for a check-in with an examiner to see where you stand and what to keep working on.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of this clinic, participants will be able to:
– Locate yourself against the standard – Compare your current riding and teaching to the Level 2 standard using direct examiner feedback, and name your specific strengths and gaps.
– Apply the technical concepts – Demonstrate the snowboard fundamentals on intermediate and advanced terrain in the form the certification requires.
– Practice the exam tasks – Perform representative riding and teaching tasks and receive feedback on how they would be assessed.
– Leave with an action plan – Write a personalized plan covering movement analysis, teaching methodology, and personal riding development.
- Snowboard specific. Geared toward candidates preparing for Level 2. Earns continuing education credit (CEUs).
