Course Description:

Has it been a few months since you last slid on snow? Or are you just looking for a few tips and tricks to get your riding back for the holidays? Then this clinic is for you. During this clinic you will work on getting your feet back underneath you and enjoy some early season snow, simple as that. We know it is hard to find the time to just work on yourself, so we will help with that and work on your riding all day.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of this clinic, participants will be able to:

– Re-establish a stable stance – Restore balanced fore/aft and lateral alignment over the board after time off snow.

– Rebuild edge control – Demonstrate confident toe- and heel-edge engagement and speed control on groomed terrain.

– Set an early season plan – Identify two or three specific things to keep working on through the first weeks of the season.

Snowboard specific. Open to all certification levels. Earns continuing education credit (CEUs).

Additional Event Details:
Schweitzer is supporting this clinic with lift tickets for those who do not have a pass at the resort.
