Course Description:

Come drill down on how drills develop movement patterns – which, done right, equals fun. You will apply drills and their tactical variations in varying terrain and conditions to sharpen your edging, rotary, and pressure movements with balance all around. By the end of the day you will have practical tools to improve your own skiing and to blow your clients away when you have fun with drills.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of this clinic, participants will be able to:

– Match the drill to the movement – Explain which movement pattern a given drill develops, and choose a drill to target a specific outcome.

– Perform drills in varied terrain – Apply drills across changing pitch and snow conditions while maintaining balance.

– Sharpen edging, rotary, and pressure – Demonstrate a measurable change in each of these movements as a result of drill work.

– Build drills into a lesson – Sequence drills within a lesson plan so students understand the purpose and enjoy the process.

Alpine focused. Open to all certification levels. Earns continuing education credit (CEUs).

The Summit at Snoqualmie is supporting with tickets for those who do not have a pass at the area, accepting the ticket you agree to wear a helmet.
