Course Description:

Has it been a few months since you slid on snow? Or are you just looking for tips and tricks to get your skiing back for the holidays? Then this clinic is for you. The day is about getting your feet back underneath you while enjoying some early season snow – simple as that. We know how hard it is to carve out time for your own skills, so we’ll provide dedicated support throughout the day. Have fun and improve – win-win.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of this clinic, participants will be able to:

– Re-establish the fundamentals – Demonstrate a balanced stance and consistent turn shape after time off snow.

– Adapt to early season snow – Adjust tactics and line choice for thin cover, firm surfaces, and limited terrain.

– Act on personal feedback – Identify one specific area for improvement from coach feedback and demonstrate a change.

– Leave with a practice plan – Name the tasks and cues you’ll use on your next few days out.

Alpine focused. Open to all certification levels. Earns continuing education credit (CEUs).

Additional Event Details:
Come “get your feet back under you” while working on your own skiing & teaching skills, while having fun kicking of the start of the season.

Schweitzer is supporting this clinic with lift tickets for those who do not have a pass at the resort.
