Course Description:

The Freestyle Specialist 2 is a certificate-based course. Participants are assessed through completion of the online workbook and quiz, active participation and coaching during the on-snow clinic, and their riding at the appropriate performance level.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of this credential, participants will be able to:

– Coach advanced freestyle progressions – Develop rotation, grabs, rails, and larger features with a student, matching progression to demonstrated readiness.

– Manage freestyle risk at higher levels – Assess features, conditions, and student capability, and make defensible go/no-go decisions.

– Perform at the FS2 standard – Demonstrate personal freestyle riding sufficient to model tasks in the terrain park.

PREREQUISITES

– Level I certification in any discipline

– Freestyle Specialist 1

– Completion of the FS1 workbook (LMS.thesnowpros.org)

• Earns continuing education credit (CEUs).

You will need to complete either the Alpine FS eLearning Course or the Snowboard FS eLearning Course

The resort is supporting this event with lift tickets for those who do not have a pass at the resort.
