Course Description:

Calling all tele-ers. If you haven’t already, blow the dust off and come celebrate the liberation of heels and minds through an all-mountain exploration of telemark skiing. Through plenty of mileage and an honest assessment of the conditions of the day, we will reacquaint ourselves with the telemark fundamentals and recruit them in ways that refine our tactics and technique across varied terrain. Come curious and assured – leave inspired, charged, and better prepared to inspire your clients.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of this clinic, participants will be able to:

– Adapt the fundamentals to terrain – Adjust lead change timing, stance, and turn shape to suit groomers, bumps, trees, and variable snow.

– Read the conditions – Assess the snow and terrain of the day and select tactics that work with it rather than against it.

– Ski the whole mountain on tele gear – Link controlled turns in at least three distinct terrain types with consistent balance.

– Take it back to your clients – Describe how a terrain or tactical choice you used today would translate into a lesson.

Telemark specific. Open to all certification levels. Earns continuing education credit (CEUs).
