Course Description:
A two-day, track-specific edition of Nordic Fall College. Two consecutive days let you build on day one’s work rather than starting fresh, making it the deepest pre-season training available for cross country track instructors in the Northwest.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of this event, participants will be able to:
– Build across two days – Establish a technical or teaching theme on day one and consolidate it on day two.
– Refresh track technique – Apply clinician feedback to a specific aspect of your classic or skate skiing.
– Plan your season – Set development and certification goals informed by the college content.
WHAT TO EXPECT
– Classic and skate over two days – Dedicate focused time to diagonal stride, double pole, V1 and V2 skate, and downhill tactics on track skis.
– Progressive coaching – Your clinician builds a plan across both days, with overnight reflection and video review where available.
– Teaching craft – Nordic-specific movement analysis and progressions you can take straight into your lessons.
Track (cross country) specific. Open to all PSIA-AASI nordic members. Earns continuing education credit (CEUs). Check the PSIA-NW event calendar for dates, venue and registration.
Additional Event Details:
Nordic Fall College – trail passes will be supported by Methow Trails. Topics will be determined each morning, bring both skate and classic skis. National team member Tulie will be at the event too, along with our other fantastic clinic leaders.
