The PSIA-AASI Accessories Catalog, published annually both online and in print, offers accessories that show your pride in the association.

Publications

A benefit of membership in both PSIA-NW and PSIA-AASI is a subscription to each journal. PSIA-NW’s NW Snowsports Instructor Journal and PSIA-AASI’s 32 Degrees: The Journal of Professional Snowsports Instruction, the definitive publications for staying on top of the latest in teaching alpine skiing, snowboarding, nordic skiing, and adaptive skiing and snowboarding. Members receive three issues of each annually.

Education Materials

PSIA-NW makes available a wide range of manuals, videos, and other materials to support the national standards and PSIA-NW’s education programs. These materials are made available at the lowest possible cost to the member and can be found on our wesbite. You’ll find an array of PSIA-AASI manuals at member prices.

Personal and Professional Development: Educational Programs, Seminars and Symposiums

PSIA-NW educational events are held throughout the region each season. These are invaluable opportunities to improve your skills as a teaching professional. These clinics and seminars are designed specifically to improve your skiing or snowboarding technique and your teaching. You’ll learn more, challenge yourself and have fun while doing it! You know the saying, Learn, Teach, Inspire.

Certification

Your certification is recognized across the country and can mean increased wages, additional benefits and recognition. Certification exams are offered by PSIA-NW each season throughout the region. Level III certified members may also join ISIA.

Promoting the Association and You

PSIA-NW and PSIA-AASI cooperate with supporting sponsors to promote snowsports instruction to the public. We also establish links with other snowsports organizations to strengthen the industry as a whole. These include
