Become a Board Member

Per the bylaws, one third of our Directors come up for election in the Spring each year. The statements for election submitted by the candidates are available to read below by clicking on the name of the candidate. If the name isn’t bolded, we have yet to receive the candidates statement.

All candidates (including incumbents) must submit an Announcement of Candidacy in order to be considered an eligible candidate. This announcement should contain the following information: Full Name, Region, Position, Snowsports School, Membership #, Occupation (if any), PSIA-NW Involvement, Reasons for wanting to serve, your contact details and signature.

Positions that are up for election in the spring of 2016 are listed below, if there is a contested position, an election will be held for that position, with voting information sent to those who are members in the contested region(s).

Announcements of Candidacy are to be received at the PSIA-NW office (by email or fax) no later than December 31st at 4pm.

If on the 31st of December, a position has more than one candidate an election will be run and decided on by the members in that region and the results will be reported by April 2018.
