GIRLS ONLY

Are you a Level 3 instructor looking for a challenge? Do you want to train to become able to work at the Alpine DCL level? Here is your chance! Starting this winter, PSIA-NW will be sponsoring an all women's group interested in pursuing the skills needed to be a DCL.

The program consists of 12 intense training days over a two year period. The focus will be on all aspects of professional development. The culmination of all the hard work will be at the DCL Evaluation in the Spring of 2002. It is the ETC's goal that many of the participants will exit this program ready to work at the following years educational events

The program coaches will be Claudia Ney, Amy Zahm, and Sarah Richardson. All of these coaches are currently involved in Divisional events and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience with them.

Commitment is a huge part of this offering. There is an expectation that all 12 days will be attended and participants will not limit their training to these few events. The exact schedule will be defined once the group is selected.

We are looking for around 8 talented, involved women. If you are interested please send  the following to the PSIA-NW office, Attention Tech VP,  by Sept 15th. No late entry's will be accepted.

 1.      Your personal resume highlighting experience in the Ski industry.

2.      A letter of intent describing your goals and commitment to the sport.

3.      One letter of recommendation from an existing Divisional Staff member.

If you have any questions please call the office for assistance.
