Determine which snowsports school or resort you would like to be employed by as an instructor. We can help you find a snowsports schools in your geographic area and put you in touch with the snowsports school director or the resort’s human resources department. Typically snowsports schools have a multi-day hiring process where you can learn more about this fun job.

Typically you should go through your local resort area’s hiring clinic and become employed as snowsports instructor before you seek PSIA-AASI membership. Once you are employed at a snowsports school, then …

• Receive training from your snowsports school
• Fulfill the minimum teaching hour requirements
• Take and pass the Registered Level Written Exam
• Complete the Membership Application
• Submit your Membership Application, Written Exam and Dues Payment

After submitting your completed application documents you will be sent your new member welcome packet.
