Mission Statement:  Provide high quality educational resources and well defined standards to aid our members in improving their teaching skills to better satisfy the needs and expectations of their customers in the enjoyment of downhill and Nordic snowsports.  

We provide multi-faceted support of the professional snowsport instructors who are our members.   Elements of this support include, developing and providing high level education, promoting snowsport instruction as a profession, and preparing and administering certification standards.  

The Professional Ski Instructors of America - Northwest Division and the American Association of Snowboard Instructors - Northwest Division comprise one of nine divisions of the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) / American Association of Snowboard Instructors (AASI)
