Q - Can you tell me if my education credit is up to date?

A - Your last education credit is on your dues billing, otherwise you would need to call or e-mail the NW Office.

Q - I just passed my Level 1 in February.  When do I need to get education credit to stay current?

A - You will need to attend a PSIA / AASI - NW clinic or event sometime during the following season.

Q - When or where are the events scheduled?

A- alpine, snowboard, track & telemark, adaptive; just click on the link for more information.

Q - Can I sign up for an event over the phone?

A - No, we do not take phone reservations.  Registration is required 14 days prior any event and many fill up far in advance. A signed release and full payment assures your spot, so please register early.

Q - Will you send me an event application?

A - Applications can also be downloaded from our website. Just click Applications.  Or, the office can fax you one.

Q - Did you get my application?

A - For faxes, a printed fax transmission verification is your receipt.  The office sends confirmations two to three days after the deadline for all events by e-mail, postcard or phone.  This is your proof we received your application.  You may also e-mail or call the office.

Q - Do I have to pay the event or dues late fee?

A - Yes, event deadlines need to be acknowledged.  We need lead time to plan for staffing.  Dues billings go out every May.  You have until June 30th to pay dues and avoid the late fee.

Q - Do I have to travel to other areas to get PSIA / AASI - NW education credit?

A - Member School Clinics offer credit at your home area.  Ask your Director or TD about availability and other nearby options.

Q - How can I find out more about the Scholarship program?

A - The best place to start is www.psia-nw.org  Click on Scholarships.  All the information is right there.  The application and Director’s Statement are due in the office 30 days prior to an event, so make sure to plan ahead!

Q - I see Exam Checkpoints, Exam Orientation Clinics and Nordic Pre-Exam Clinics on the Calendar.  What is the difference between these clinics?

A - While they sound similar, these clinics have very specific content and scheduling to support different goals.  Check the descriptions for each of them accessible by clicking on the link above and talk with your TD about the best choice for you.
