Online Written Exams Professional Knowledge Exam for Alpine, Snowboard & Telemark The online professional knowledge written exam is available for Alpine, Snowboard and Telemark. No Snowsports Directors Signature is required for the online portion of the exam, so you may register online if you wish. After your registration has been processed, you will receive a separate email with a link to your exam (this is not automatic – we have to send it to you from the office) so please allow for some time for the link to reach you. Save the link until you are ready to take the exam. The passing score is 75% Members who wish to pursue the on snow exams for Level 2 or 3 will be required to pass the online Professional Knowledge exam 30 days prior to registering for the on-hill exam process. For the Level 1 exam, please verify the timeline with your trainer. The online exam consists of randomly selected multiple-choice questions, and you will have a time limit, it will be further explained in your confirmation information. The time limit begins after you accept the terms and conditions online. What gear on what day will be clarified in your confirmation email. Due to the size, generally the Level II and Level III candidates will be combined together into one group.
